Asia-Pacific markets traded mostly higher on Tuesday, following Wall Street’s strong gains. Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose 0.93%, while the Topix gained 0.40%. South Korea’s Kospi advanced 1.34%, though the small-cap Kosdaq fell 0.59%. Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was flat, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng declined 0.97%. China’s CSI 300 added 0.51%.

In after-hours trading, AeroVironment surged 19% after reporting better-than-expected fiscal fourth-quarter results. The defense company posted adjusted earnings of $1.84 per share on revenue of $642 million, beating analysts’ forecasts.

Wall Street rallied during Monday’s regular session as easing tensions between the U.S. and Iran improved investor sentiment. The S&P 500 climbed 1.18%, the Nasdaq Composite gained 2.07%, and the Dow rose 306.63 points, or 0.59%, to finish above the 52,000 mark for the first time. Alphabet’s nearly 5% rally also supported the blue-chip index.

Investors remain optimistic ahead of the upcoming earnings season, with expectations that large-cap technology stocks could regain momentum. Markets will also monitor Tuesday’s economic releases, including the May JOLTS job openings report, June Chicago PMI, and consumer confidence data.
